"I found this tree in my sleep. The cat told me each star on the tree would protect my family. There's no star for me though, so I guess I'll have to fend for myself."
Still experimenting with different styles - here's another illustration for you. Not going to say much about this one, I like people to make their own interpretation.

Love the concept. It seems to me like the cat has an idea that the stars are tied to the tree, and if he would climb the tree, he could have them.
