Description
This is a Blood Angel "Terminator" Marine. This model came with the Assault on Black Reach Warhammer 40K 5th edition boxed set. It was painted in preparation for the release of the 3rd edition Space Hulk set, and as such it is based in a Space Hulk setting. If your not familiar with Space Hulk, think of the famous movie "Aliens".... put all the colonial marines in big ass armored suits and that's Space Hulk.
This model is made of plastic and is about 35mm tall.
It was painted using Citadel acrylic paints, inks and washes.

I like how you made the red a darker shade. It always annoys me how Blood Angels are usually painted so they look like Happy Meal toys. Same for Ultramarines.

Yeah I think Marines should be all dark and angsty looking. Back in the day I was a fan of the uber bright "Citadel Style", but then of course everyone was back then, but my tastes have changed these days.

Very nice work, love the power fist, where did you get the base from?

Thanks Hippo, the base is a standard 40mm Citadel base with styrene scale tiles glued down onto the top of the base. If you look REAL close to the background in the photo, it's not just white, it's a white styrene tile sheet. I used parts of that for the floor panels on the base.
