Description
I've been teaching myself to sew, a vital skill for a puppeteer and puppet maker. This little red lizard guy is the first product of this intensive training. The stitching is lamentable and he's boz-eyed but I'm kinda proud of himOnwards and upwards.

Ah but close up you can really see the abysmal stitching. Still, he works and he was my first go at it so it's better than I expected.

I hope so! He's pretty good for a first effort. Given me confidence that I can make them. Glad to see you didn't blow away over the past week

Did you use a machine or did you hand-stich for your first try? Hand stitching can be a bit monotonous but if you're ever in a bind you can mend your clothes in a pinch.
The hurricane was pretty gnarly, but we managed to stay grounded.

A mix of both. Big straight lines were done on machine
