You sighed in front of a public library. Hugging your books you prepared yourself to enter this building. Why so much effort just to enter a public library?

The answer was so simple yet hard to explain. What hindered you from entering so easily was inside the library. You sighed again and stepped to the gate. You entered and felt a different atmosphere inside. However you ignored it the best you could. You stayed silent as you kept on looking for him. He told you he worked as a librarian in his free time here.

You looked around. The first floor was almost full of people, from children to adults. You saw there was a librarian desk, but it was not him. It’s a beautiful girl who sat behind the counter. Did you mistake the day? No, he just told you yesterday that he’d be here today. Wondering by yourself wouldn’t get you anywhere now, so you decided to approach her and asked.

As you were getting closer, the girl noticed you and smiled at you already.

“Hi, can I help you?” she said.

Her voice was cute and soft. You returned her smile and started, “Hi, I’m just wondering if… Uh… Is there a man named Arthur works here?” It was a quiet odd question, but you kept that to yourself.

Her face showed confusion, but then she smiled again, “Yes, there is. He’s upstairs on the second floor. You should find him in novel section.”

“Okay, thank you.”

“No problem at all. Also, I’m just his partner here~” she said randomly. You were confused when she told you that but you kept smiling and thanked here again before you went upstairs. When you got to the second floor, your eyes scanned the whole room. There were some teens reading books/novels. ‘She said he’d be in novel section’ you thought. You began to walk but your eyes still scanned around.

Finally your eyes fell into a messy blonde hair that was too similar to his hair. The man was sitting with two books opened in front of him. Although they were opened, he didn’t seem to pay attention to any of the books. It looked like he was scribbling something. You walked passing the seat to assure yourself that it was him from the front. Once you did, you saw that bushy eyebrows of his that made him unique and easy to tell. That was definitely him.

He looked so serious and you could see his face a bit as he looked down to whatever on the table. The more you looked at him, the more he looked so handsome. You could feel the red on your face and your heart beat a little bit faster. You exhaled and readied yourself to greet him. You had planned this since you knew he worked here and knowing his love for books, you decided to get close to him.

You walked slowly to him but still normally. As you were getting closer, your eyes focused on his scribbles. When you could see it clearly, which was just some distance from him, your eyes widened and you let out a silent gasp. He was drawing some chibis and they looked cute. You never expect him to have this talent. You also liked to draw things yourself, but the only one to match your hobby was Feliciano.

After scribbling something that looked like chibi girl, he stopped and rested his chin on his hand as he thought something. He really didn’t notice you.

This was going to be hard. You didn’t want to disturb him, but you really wanted to talk to him. You inhaled and tried to get his attention. “Ehem..”

Arthur responded immediately and as he saw you, he looked like he was surprised. His eyes widened and his face turned red. You just smiled and waited him to at least say something. Arthur looked at you then to his notes in front of him then he suddenly screamed as he tried to hide the notes and his drawings, “(n-name)! What are you doing here?!”

Right after he let out a loud voice, the others in the room hushed him and so did you. “Ssh… decrease your volume, we’re in a library…”

He looked down, embarrassed, “Sorry…”

You put your books on the table and sat the opposite of him.

“So… what are you doing here, (name)?” he started, but with a small voice.

“Just some business,” you said. ‘Well, meeting you, that is’. “Anyway~ what are you doing just now?” you asked him as your eyes fell on the notes he tried to hide. He knew what you were referring to, but he wanted to avoid the topic, “Well, nothing for sure… uh… do you want to read a novel, love?”

Yep, he tried to change the topic but you would not give up that easily. “No, I’m not in the mood to read novels. I’m interested in what you were doing just now,” you pushed him to give in. “I-it’s nothing, love, I swear…”

“Nope, it is something. I’ve seen it though so it’s useless for you to hide it.”

“You did?!” once again his voice raised and he earned more hush.

Arthur muttered a sorry before he facepalmed, “Damn…”

“So, may I have a look?” you asked him politely and he gave up.

He handed you his notes and you thanked him. You opened the notes page by page and you found so many drawn chibis. There were Alfred, Francis, Ivan, Yao, Feliciano, Ludwig, Kiku, Lovino, Antonio, Gilbert and almost all of your classmates. They have their own unique features and you can differentiate them all. Oh my god they were so cute altogether. How could he hide something as amazing as these? And there was a chibi you thought to be you. It was so cute that you didn’t believe that it was you, but the name said it all.

“Goodness, Arthur… these are amazing!” you said in small voice possible. “They’re cute~ I don’t know you can draw~” you said over happiness.

He just silent and avoided your eyes. You pouted and waited for him to say something. As you wait, you looked over the pages until the end and you realized something. There were no chibi drawing of him. Or did you miss it? You looked at the pages where all of your classmates were drawn but no sign of him. “Hey, there are no you in here,” you said.

“Well… somehow I can’t draw myself…” he said. So at least he’d admit he could draw.

“Guess so…” somehow you felt sad that he was the only one who wasn’t drawn here. It looked like he was alone again somewhere. Then you had an idea. You took his pencil and started to scribble something besides your chibi. Arthur just looked at what you were doing.

When you were done, you turned the notes so he could take a good look on what you were doing. “How about this then?” You drew his chibi besides yours with his natural messy hair and that big bushy brows of his and the usual face of his. It looked cute too, just like his drawings.

“Now you’re together with us,” you added again.

“Yeah…” was all his reply, but you could see a hint of happiness on his face. He looked both relieve and happy. You smiled too and said again, “Don’t hide amazing things like this from me. I’ve shown you mine dozens of times, so it’s time you show me yours.”

You returned his notes and pencil and just looked at him. He looked at you too and smiled that charming smile.

“Okay, love.”
