I'm guessing most whovians have already heard the news?Yeah.
We will all miss him.
I wanted to make it look like he was trying to hold in the regeneration energy, hopelessly trying to prevent the inevitable. For some reason I feel like that would be Eleven's reaction to the regeneration.

I've spent countless night thinking and thinking what on Earth literally is going to happen to 11 to make him regenerate, specially since that episode will be after the 50th Anniversary...

Sadness. I haven't been following this current season mainly because I don't have BBC channels. But once I heard he was leaving, I was still pretty flipping sad. I guess it is the natural order of the Doctor and we all must accept that. I just hope he gets replaced by an EVEN COOLER actor ( or maybe even actRESS?) I know Steven Moffat will have plenty of juicy ideas for the next doctor.

For some reason I imagine he would accept regenerating more than Ten did (after all... he did spend roughly 200 years in this form so I figure he's somewhat more... mature?). Anyway, love the art, bravo!
As for the news... I wish I could un-hear it right away or at least pretend I don't believe it. Now we can only hope he'll go out in greatness..

I was heartbroken when I heard the news... Matt was my first Doctor and this will be my first regeneration >__<

lol, I think the idea of 10 having the time to say goodbye/check in on all his old companions(and as we learn from 11 in his SJA appearance, it was ALL his past companions) was that he was holding it in, and the fact he was able to was his "reward."
Still a great piece though. Amazing artwork and really moving. Just more similar to 10 thank you thought I believe

I'm pretty heartbroken over the 11th Doctor leaving... he's the first doctor I watched all the way through... and I absolutely love where he took the character and what the writers did with him. But I'll try to be open about the next guy (girl!?) who takes his place. *sniff* I love you smith!
