Oooh that's an interesting theory! I wouldn't be surprised if Ishida tricked us again like that, but considering that Sasaki's hair shifting greatly between black and white been a running theme, I still think it's pretty likely that his hair returned to all black. We can't know for sure until the next chapter comes out though!

Well consider the last panel with Haise and Kaneki. Blood was flowing down his face (Kanae kept kicking his face) while his hair turned darker. Β Considering that Ishida went through the trouble of keeping Kaneki tortured for ten days to justify his hair turning white, I can't see him instantly making his hair black like that.

Ahh yes in between your comments I read up on some theories Β about his hair and now I can really see this being true. If it is, then It's a pretty genius move on Ishida's part to use his head injury as a way to draw him with his hair all black just for the sake of the meaning/symbolism behind it.Β
