IM REVAMPING/UPDATING THESE GUYS.: caesol.deviantart.com/gallery/… (Only because I'm really digging this non-chibi version of them <3) Looks like the Northern Spitens beat out the southern in evolution.....Anything y'all are interested in that I can expand upon would be appreciated <3

Why the large difference in spiten?
What do they eat/ are any exclusive herbivores or carnivores?
Color eyes/coats vary by region or are they just random?
Also habitats? Other inhabitants of their world? if they have a world?

1. Because I really want to modernize them and I like them all lanky and not chibish! C: I feel like you can accessorize them more also!
Spitens are capable of reaching the same heights as humans!
2. They now eat anything! But prefer a rich diet of meats. They still have familiars, but use them more as pets rather than equals. In villages, you can see a closer bond b/w the two! Tying into the habitats/world question, some Spitens are still farmers/villagers, and are the ones mainly responsible for agriculture / hunting / farming. Some even raise livestock, which is fairly easy to do given their natural gift toward animals (they're going to slaughter them but still)
City spitens (the more modern folk) import goods from the rural areas. Because they're more developed and have time for arts, they really love cooking and enjoy using these ingredients in complex dishes! Of course, the main feature will be meat!
3. Their eye colors vary but are mainly natural colors like: brown, blue, green, hazel, grey, darker brown. It's uncommon to see unnatural colors like: purple, red, gold, etc.
Their scleras/eyewhites are either yellowed or blueish/white.
4. Their coat colors are natural! ovo And are shades of brown, grey/white, black, and murky greenish-tans. Like earlier, it's uncommon to see more vibrant colors since they have more earthy tones, but Spitens do like to dye their fur like the guy in the ref! ^^

5. They have a world, but the world is similar to their old one vuv There towns and then there are cities. In the latter, you see a lot more spitens that are of the working class, and the rural side, more farmers, though the racism / hostility held toward the southern spitens is extinguished. OF course you'll have spitens look down on the rural folks for being uncivilized, but nothing super out there occurs.
There are other inhabitants of the world, namely in the form of other intelligent creatures that Spitens seek out and tame as familiars. Of course, as time progressed from the northernv.southern era, Spitens more or less domesticated them. The inhabitants are no longer as intelligent as their ancestors, becoming pets to some extent... But there is no short abundance of other creatures! (prey, predators/monsters, and friends ovo )
Their world is connected to many others also. They aren't very surprised if foreigners show up in their cities. Of course, they'll still be snobby over it. LOL
