This is for I hope I didn't step out of line with this one, but he wanted his character tied and liked tapes more than chains.
Hrmm.. since he seems to like backstories

Catherine walked into the hangar and looked at the massive shape she had seen flying past her at the speed of sound. It was humming and cooling down, the outline of it engulfed in flame like a comet still stayed.
She walked up to the pilot who groomed it like a horse and polished its smooth mirrored surface.

Catherine: "Can I pilot it.. can I take it for a spin please please, pretty please..??"
Sim: "Huh?"
She blinked cutely and pointed to it.
Simona tightened her face: "Over my dead body!!!"
"Oh I think that can be arranged!!" spoke admiral Thornton behind her back with a sadistic grin and lay a hand on her shoulder.
Sim: "You're not serious??"
Thornton: "Oh yes I am, we can always use spares..."

And so she was lead into a room to be "prepared" and passed out right away in the darkness...
