Rainbow Dash was born 2 months premature and she had a stillborn twin that her parents called Little Cloud. Rainbow Dash nearly died a few times as a foal and doctors kept telling Windy and Hothoof that she didnt have long to live. So they celebrated every possible milestone just in case she left but she never did. In fact she became a strong filly and you know the rest.

Next to Hothoof is his twin brother Rainbow Rocket, who took Rainbow Dash for the city calling of the Equestria Games.

Some point after Twilights coronation as Empress, she and Applejack dated but after about 5 months of dating decided to remain as friends.
