A stallion born from prayer, a plea, that one day his mother will bear young. Wishing upon the moon she had begged for a child, weeping from her amber eyes that she bare a child for she and her husband had been struggling for decades. She was nearly at the end of child-bearing age. Already she had wrinkles and achy joints. But this did not deter her and instead, she kept praying.

Finally, her wish had been granted, 12 months later a colt was born with arctic blue fur and tufts of pink and purple mane. He looked nothing like his father nor his mother. But neither cared, they finally had a child they had sought for decades. He was born during a blizzard in their little cottage outside Vanhoover and on that night was dubbed Frozen Wind.

Frozen Wind had grown up to be a very powerful unicorn, his abilities didn't go unnoticed by his family, and signed him up to Princess Celestia's School of Gifted Unicorns and he was given the task of transmutating lead into gold. It was a hard trial, but with sheer determination, he was able to perform his task. His years in the school were extremely informative. He was ambitious, determined, and incredibly hardworking. He made some friends along the way, two other unicorns from his class.

Into adulthood, he graduated from the SoGU and began to travel the vast kingdom in search of new magic to study. In his adventures, he had been attacked by various creatures and beasts. Including a Griffin who raked their talons down the right side of his face, ultimately damaging his self-image for the future.

Frozen Wind is an OC I had come up with on the spot when doodling. I quite like his colors and he gives me the vibes of someone who lives up to his name. Cold and collected, yet has no major thoughts on anything beyond where the wind will guide him.
