Character Background:
Twilight Sparkle was born in Canterlot at the golden hour of September the 12th. Her mother is Twilight Velvet and her father was Nightlight. She has an elder brother by the name of Shining Armor who is now Emperor of the Crystal Empire along his wife, the Empress, Mi Amore Cadenza (or just Cadence).

Twilight began life as an aptitude for magic and studying from a young age, always being eager to learn and happy to dive into a book about the hardest subjects. Ever since she could remember she wanted to become a student of Celestia in her School of Gifted Unicorns. At the age of 5, it wouldn't be easy, there is an entrance exam that almost all ponies fail. Often times the exam is to be able to pull off a feat of magic that even an adult would struggle with, and for Twilight she was unlucky in getting the task of hatching a dragon egg. She was greeted to a basket of three dragon eggs. One purple, one green, and one purple with green spots. She struggled and struggled, but in the end wasn't able to hatch the eggs. Not until a burst of magic blasted through her, sending her body into overdrive as she hatched one of the eggs, causing a purple and green dragon to emerge while accidentally turning her parents into cacti and a wayward spell attacked one of the supervisors of the test. Celestia arrived to stop her in time and from that moment on, not only did Twilight get her cutie mark, she also found herself being Celestia's personal pupil.

By the time she was 18 she was finally sent out to Ponyville where she would meet her new best friends and future wife.

They've been through many hardships, hell and high water, but they were always together no matter what.

In the present, Twilight is Empress of Equestria, she's mother to three children and married to Rarity Belladona. Her children are Pulsar Radiance, Bellatrix Dazzle, and Serenity.
