This IS gross and weird! I like it! The colors you used make it seem rather elegant at the same time as being slightly disturbing. The way it curls around itself is so graceful.... I could go on and on! I'm mesmerized by this piece! Really good work!

Usually, yes. An ouroboros is an image of a snake or dragon eating its own tail. The circle reinforces the symbolism, but doesn't have to be present. I just wanted to play with the imagery. C:
