Pencil sketch cleaned and coloured in Photoshop CS3.

It's the first time I do such a thing. I normally don't draw because I really ain't good at it: still I managed to draw and colour this without any reference, whatsoever. Moreover, I don't even have the appropriate gear: all of this was done with a crappy mouse...
That said, the title gains a second meaning: I never thought before today of doing (and, most notably, uploading) such a thing... pretty as much as such a scene is kind of unthinkable for Naruto - way too relaxed and peaceful, ain't it?
But, you know, everything is possible.

Talking about technique: being totally inexperienced made me draw this too little. The whole drawing above is a mere 10 x 16 cm (I drew it on a piece of scrap paper!) and my pencil was, well... a very old Ikea pencil (you know, those short pencil you find in Ikea stores)! This explains why it looks I drew it with something that thick...
Next time I swear I'll draw bigger and with a proper pencil.
The colouring itself was quite a surprise. Actually I was aiming at something this "dreamy" even if I had in mind Takahata's flash-back sequences in "Omohide Poro Poro" (Only Yesterday). The catch is that I should now try to enlarge the canvas to reach such an effect. If I find the time, I'll try.

Bear in mind that this is not meant to be the definitive version... when I'll feel like it's ready, I'll move it in my main gallery.
