Description
Designed and folded by me from 10" square white Canson Mi-Teintes paperYes, it's that type of scouter; the kind you see on Dragon Ball Z and the subject of some overused memes. I was feeling a bit silly and tried to make a life-sized origami replica. Shown in three angles. I usually don't show the usually less-than-pretty back side of models, but I think it was important to show how the ear section was made.
The proportions are a bit tweaked to fit a normal person's face, and not an anime face. Yes, that means this model is (loosely) wearable [link] ; the ear section hooks on the top of the ear and the scouter display rests on the cheek in front of the left eye. I've found at 10"-11" sheet will make a model that just fits, and the Canson paper I used holds its shape quite well after dampening it with some water and letting it dry.
I think I had a bit too much fun playing with this and "measuring" the power levels of my friends.

Hrm nope, nope, and nope. I've seen a couple origami tardis's out there, but they're pretty minimalistic.
