That's true my friend, also the weapon test mode is fun. Man,  the ending to dead space 3 sucks so bad.

I agree, she was pretty badass.  I wish it had a better ending like the Dead Space 2.

I agree, my friend. I love dead space 2 ending, they lived happy after. Oh, man Issac is stuck on tau volantis or in earth's orbit with dead space 3.

Ah, Dead Space - another franchise successfully tanked by EA.

A real shame because there was a lot of potential for Dead Space 3 but it's clear there was a lot of meddling going on. The direction that the DLC wanted to go in seemed a lot more interesting - although, my feelings toward the main game did soften a bit on a second viewing.

The idea of going to (what we think) is the Marker homeworld was neat. Bopping around a derelict fleet was a neat idea. The alien city looked amazing... but then you've got the crafting system (because EVERYTHING needs to have crafting now!), which felt like someone had seen their kid playing Dead Rising and decided that was what the serious survival horror game needed. A gun that can rapid fire flaming electrified javelins.

A staple of the genre, really.

Oh, man the evil empire EA destroyed one my favorite games series. Makes me so mad that they closed down the  Visceral Games and shut down dead space series. Just so much potential. But, they ruined the series with me with Dead Space 3 and man the ending was terrible ending on a cliffhanger.  Now there's no closure with the story.
I kinda of wished they stopped with Dead Space 2, it ended on a great note. But, dead space 3 was ruined by co-op and micro transaction. Crafting system. Also them making into more of action game than survival horror. LOL, Lost colony 3 was more of a dead space game then dead space 3.  2012 and 2013 everything had to be like Call of Duty.

I agree, so much potentials with the marker homeworld and traveling around the derelict fleet was cool. Was excited to see Dead Space 4 game, looks like it would of been on the moon or earth. Or even the Chicxulub Puerto crater on earth. Too bad, we will never see the dead space 4 or the true ending to the series.

I suppose one might argue that Dead Space ended on a cliffhanger but yeah, both Dead Space 3 AND its DLC left you hanging. I think the DLC cliffhanger was absolutely ridiculous but then again, while I think the life cycle of the necromorphs didn't feel like it was conjured from the aether... Fighting a moon? Ugh. A bunch of moons jumping out? Ugh.

There was definitely a strange progression in the Dead Space games - I would like to know what the devs would have done without executive meddling. The co-op thing... again, as MandaloreGaming points out - the game just doesn't seem to know which one it wanted to be. Single player or co-op.

The funny thing about Dead Space 3 is - unlike something like Mass Effect 3 - it hadn't painted itself into a corner. There was no reason the game needed to be escalated into some conclusion to a conflict... beyond the fact people seem to think trilogies are the best length for everything for no particular reason.

And sure, there was an escalation between 1&2 but there were just so many missteps. All of a sudden, humanity is on the edge of extinction because everywhere has Markers (why?!). I know they were on the Sprawl and Dead Space 2 implied there were more sites but gosh. Does EVERY colony need the necromorph outbreak kit on it? Ugh.

An ending to the series would be nice - I can understand Isaac being not very keen about doing stuff in 3 as he was a victim of circumstances in the previous games but it made Dead Space 3 weird. Have him and Ellie be the co-op partners! Gosh.
