Description
First spotted in 1936 by a military helicopter pilot this snake like creature occupies the Chesapeake Bay. Chessie was spotted again in the 1980, 1982, & 1983 and eventually this creature swam it's way into its present role as an environment icon for the health of the bay.Related content
