this immediately caught my eye on the "Critiqueables" page.
the contrast of the piece is breathtaking, without blowing out any whites or getting too heavy with blacks.
the depth of focus is nice too, with mainly the sunglasses and the sweater/shirt being the clearest point.
i graded down on originality, because its a fairly candid shot. not anything super interesting happening, but therein lies why i think i like this piece so much. you're showing the beauty of the candid shots. and how artistic a candid shot can be!
this doesnt feel over edited, and still feels pretty natural. i really like this one, and now im going to check out the rest of your gallery!! good work!!
