CainDraka — Ed and Clover Concepts for BA

These are some of the concepts I was playing with back when I was still planning on enteringA bit of backstory involved a lot of stuff I haven't even attempted to write up yet, but essentially:
-Ed's powers are the same as Cain's, only they frequently backfire violently because I'm an asshole.
-Ed really sucks at people not dying around him, especially people he cares about (in this instance, Clover).
-Ed attempted to resurrect her, and her soul violently exploded out her (hence all the stitching and scarring).
-Ed blames himself, blah blah blah, wants to get her soul back into her body proper.
And that'd pretty much lead up to whatever I would have done in BA if I had went through with it.
Those things in the bottom right corner are more recent concepts of my Stitch-bodies. I don't feel like linking to the older ones in my gallery because they are half-ugly.
Stitch-bodies are what happens when a soul is violently ripped out of it's body, without the body or mind dying.
- Not a zombie
They just retain a fragmented shell of their former personality, relying on the last emotional investments they had before "dying."

Gah, this would have been a joy to see in Avalon, I was so upset to hear that you weren't going to enter in the long run, but I love the sketches. I must say however, when I saw the backshot of Ed I freaked a little thinking that his tail was another appendage.

It was the first thing that came up when I tried to find an "im[x]plz" icon, but this wasn't the one I initially had in mind.

Oh this is just too neat. At first glance, I figured Ed was going to be an anti-Cain. And he and Cain would be like...rivals n' shit.

The biggest reason I haven't tried fleshing out everything in writing is because my ideas are a convoluted mess that I feel I only really understand.
I'm also so used to drawing my characters that I forgot it's been years since I even uploaded a new drawing of Ed or Clover D:
