I waited here for a few hours to see out the sunset only to be disappointed
Since I didn't have any amazing light to place with I put an emphasis on detail. Taken further back from [link] with a telephoto lens(8 image stitch). Aoraki/Mount Cook, New Zealand

These emphasis on detail [especially near plane] makes thew whole scene look a bit hyper-realistic [I mean, hyper sharp: seems you'll notice someone's details even in the far montain]

This is still a great photo, I have to admit the light and atmosphere seems a bit flat. Good thing you got a strong contrast.
If I where to choose, I'd go you the long exposure one. Seems more fitting for the majestic feel of the landscape.
BUt overall good work as always man
