Description
The remains of an old jetty found just in time for sunset
This was taken afterwards at twilight, which seems to last for hours in NZ.Lake Wakatipu, New Zealand

Breathtakingly beautiful focus and colors.. The striking sunset in the background compensates for the feeling of isolation we get from the jetty. Lovely.

This is stunning!! I haven't been on dA very much at all over the past 5 or 6 months Kane, but this just stopped me in my tracks strolling through my watch list. Really nice compo using the jetty in the foreground beautifully, love the exposure making the water so calm, and the hues of the water against the subtle pink on the far away peak and sky is fantastic!

It's unfortunate you have to watermark such a beautifully composed picture. The small details in the foreground and the gorgeous pinks/magenta's you're getting off the upper right at the mountain line make this such an amazing picture. However I do understand the need for a watermark, I'm not trying to question that or anything haha. Great work
