Description
The remains of an old jetty found just in time for sunset
This was taken afterwards at twilight, which seems to last for hours in NZ.Lake Wakatipu, New Zealand

Wow! This is such a great shot! Love the colors! Just curious, is this un-edited at all or..? I'm starting to get into photography and just trying to figure out if most pictures get some sort of touchup in Photoshop or if they're all Raw

It is close to being untouched, only thing apart from a slight shift in exposure(it was under-exposed) was increasing the saturation

DA on Facebook asked: "What was the last deviation you added to your Favourites and why?" [link]
In Responce: I added Everlasting Light by ~ I added it because I liked the calming cool colors of the deviation, with a gorgeous sunset over the mountains. The main focus was on some burnt looking logs and the overall feel was a sense of peace. It was like in spite of the ugliness (for lack of a better word) facing me, the whole scene is actually beautiful. Relating this to life, one moment may be ugly, but the whole scene is actually quite pretty. The title struck a few musical notes in my head, allowing a harmony to begin with thought and imagery.
