Description
Spotted this after driving some 700kms, thought it was about time for a rest. Though you don't really get one when the temperature is 40C+ in the shade!I wanted to get closer but didn't have any shoes on and swear i saw a snake

I know this may be a long shot, since I have no idea if you are still active, but is there any chance I could use this for a BG for my Bearded Dragons Enclouser I'm building in the near future please?Β

excellent and yes typical of Australia (glad I am living in Brisbane at the moment and not Adelaide or Melbourne.
Although to my simple eye it seems to go a bit to the right horizontally >< could just be me

Thats for sure! Its only reached 33 here once and that was enough.. 40C+ for a week is a bit much
I think your right, i do remember straightening it but that hill confused me Cheers!

I've had the same problem in the past - you look at a piece so many times ... a fresh set of eyes can pick these things

Why were you not wearing shoes silly???? It is a beautiful shot and that heat is intense, however it can reach 46C here in the summer...and boy is that miserable! To bad there was not a lake near by to cool off. I look at this photo and imagine one nearby. Superb composition once again!

I had sandals on, i'd just rather had shoes to go in the snanke grass 46C sucks! Though most of the capitals here have been in the 40s all week!
Lucky we have the beach

I read that and took it as though you had no shoes on at all! I too would not want to frolic with the snakes....Stay cool and keep those beautiful shots coming!

This is the very essence of outback Australia. And how I love it. But you must be brave, my photo-ing desire drops off after it gets above 39 degrees. But maybe for shots like that I might try.

Cheez!!! That's sick Imagine that many people are actually paying a lot of money to be on a place like that
Flights, hotels, drinks, food, souvenirs, etc. and all they really remember from the trip is that they guess that they saw a snake down there and they're positive that they have sunburns
Grrreat

So hot ‘‘ in this time of the year ‘‘
I was going to tell you be careful your shoes are going to melt , jaja but you didnΒ΄t bring shoes ?? Interesting.
I canΒ΄t imagine how does the 40Β° feel inside that house.
Oh mAcrowave ‘‘
Going back to the pic ,I like how the mmm grass ( the special long grass ) is moving with the air. Everything is perfect , like in a movie. a Hot movie.

That's what I love about driving around the Nullarbor Plains, really nice, if a bit stifling. My Uncle's taken me driving out there with a few friends. I'm assuming this isn't the Nullarbor though, there being hills and all. Great shot, those old corrugated iron buildings are like bloody furnaces though, I swear.

Cheers! This was near Parkes, NSW. So many old sheds/houses out there, worst thing was i usually went exploring in the middle of the day Not that it was much cooler later on!
Nullabor would be great, huge trip though
