between work for my sculpture class and a series of commissions, i haven't had any time to work on personal or gift art. except last night when i just sat down to doodle and clear my head and i ended up with this.call it an overworked sketch if you will, because that's what it is. i'm pretty proud of the anatomy since i didn't have any references (though i can see a few glaring errors).
i have no idea why Skade's doing cheesecake, but it's for Liz because she's awesome.

Good god Caishy this is fucking amazing! The anatomy just blows me away o__o Her stomach, legs.. she looks so very sexy. I love her expression and how her hair is hiding half her face like that... and those wings look great. Plus the way you colored this is really cool.

HOLY... D: Damn, woman, I am SO incredibly flattered and simultaneously AMAZED at how good you've gotten in such a short amount of time. Wow! First of all, THANKYOU THANKYOU for taking the time to do this for me, I know all too well the feeling of frustration not having any time or motivation for art due to school and real life. But seriously, it turned out fantastic.
I LOVE the sketchy quality of it, especially in that soft, ethereal blue that compliments her browns and oranges so well. It's just so dreamy and jdfhfd... WORDS. I like it, okay?! Love that little swatch of hair/bangs you gave her coming down over one eye, and also the simple, pale coloring on her belly and legs. I like the top of her left thigh simply because initially, it looked like she had a patch of darker brown there with spots on top of that. I see that it's part of her wing now, but I like that idea quite a bit anyway, and may include it in future arts of her.
That's totally my favorite part of fanart, by the way. People adding their own little twists and turns to your characters, and then you go, "Oooh! I like that!" and make it a staple of their design. I know Skade used to be bald, hog-nosed, and had grey-wings way back in the day
