Description

Astral laid in bed while sweating, her face twitched every so often until she jolted upright as her eyes opened. Breathing heavily, the half-Sayian couldn't sleep. She had saved Bulpan from Dark's grip, only now having his grip on her instead. Standing up, Astral wiped her sweaty forehead with her scarf. ''Ugh, this freakin' sucks. Now he's in my head...''

She felt like a danger to her friends, unable to help them, and unable to tell them that Dark was in her head or risk her mind being destroyed. ''I need to get out of here...'' Astral sighed, entering her mother's bedroom and stealing her multiversal Pride Trooper credit card. ''Well mom still isn't back, so I'll just get out of here for a while...'' Flying off towards the nearest city, Astral stopped at the first hotel she found. ''I can lay low here for a while, where I'm not endangering the others.'' She said in hopes it would help her come up with a solution. She felt the stress lift after entering her new room for the night, not having to lie to her friends, just silence.

"Oh Astral, running away from home? Your mother would be awfully worried, especially since she now can't follow you." Dark's voice echoed in Astral's head. She was now alone and all she can really talk to is Dark, the being who was trying to end her.

Hesitating to engage in conversation, she knew he'd just keep pestering her for a response. ''Well... she is searching for that wizard after all, she could be gone for a few days for all we know.''

"That may be, but it'll be quite the while before she even knows where you are even with that wizard. And even then Astral , I can just use you as a hostage." Dark knew what has been going on, all but a few things like Danny being Susana and Ginyu being caged. He would know more by infiltrating Astral's mind and memories, but fail to do so as she is pure of heart.

''Yeah yeah... not much you can do aside from giving me a migraine. You've wanted to kill me from the moment I was born, but all I wanted was to live like a normal person.''

"Although true, it didn't need to be that way. Two things could've happened where I most likely would never have targeted you Astral, you and your family."

''I tried running away, lying low and even could have killed Gine Black but I didn't, I could have killed Bulpan but I didn't. Then I hide in a freakin' alternate dimension for three freakin' years just to hide and get stronger. And the second I get back you throw the entire Dark Strike Force at me. BAH!'' Astral jumped onto her bed in a slight strop.

"Because of how strong you were, because of your heritage, because of your potential, that's why I targeted you. But about that attack in particular, it was Towa's doing to send in the whole force at once, not mine. But all of this could've been avoided, if you either never had any powers or if you were never born. You and your family wouldn't be in danger if one of those things happened." What Dark said was true, if Astral never had powers or was never born, she would never deal with him or the Dark Strike Force. But because she was born with powers, Dark took action against her.

''Yeah like that answer helps at all...'' She rolled her eyes, bBut then she couldn't help but let out a very small smile. ''But they failed though, your whole team couldn't even beat a young girl like me. Though it was close, getting switched with Ginyu then shot by Bulpan. Phew...''

"They are nothing compared to me, I only enlisted their help to find Danny because... well, I rather not tell you. But I gave them additional targets, one of them being you." It was demonstrated earlier how powerful Dark was even in a weaker body like Bulpan's, being able to shoot through Cai with a small and weak energy beam. Astral was there, so she would know. Dark even replayed the memory in Astral's thoughts, making her remember it from his perspective in Bulpan.

''Hey cut that out! Can't you learn just to chill out?'' Astral huffed turning on the television.

Stopping the memory, Dark only chuckled. "Heh, you should be saying the same to yourself. You don't seem to be calm at all."

''I'm always calm, they call me the calm...'' She moved her eyes from left to right trying to think of something witty to say but was struggling. ''... person...''

"... Nice comeback." The voice of Dark said sarcastically.

''Yeah yeah...'' Astral rolled her eyes turning up the volume.

"You're too soft for your own good Astral." Dark muttered, wanting the girl to hear what he said even if it seemed like he was talking to himself.

''Soft? No I'm hollow, look!'' She turned into her Astral Form as her body turned transparent. ''Tada!'' She chuckled before returning to normal.

"I meant that you're too nice, too forgiving. You still don't know what some words or sayings mean..." Dark would facepalm, but couldn't. He was only a voice in Astral's head, not actually possessing her body.

''Yeah and you're too mean, attacking people that are literally trying to leave you alone!''

"You could've killed Gine Black and Bulpan, but didn't. If you did, they wouldn't come back and the Dark Strike Force would have been crippled. If you killed Bulpan in your second fight with her, you wouldn't have been held down to get body swapped with Ginyu. So much could've been avoided if you only took their life..." His voice echoing through Astral's mind, Dark was trying to get Astral to see the good in killing.

''My mom would have... but that's why I have my special ability. It helps me run away.''

"And yet that failed. Ginyu took your body and was better at using it than you, you yourself were a dead spirit. If only you killed them... you might even been able to even kill Ginyu before he would even get a chance at stealing your body. You know it's the truth, so much could've been avoided."

''Yeah, well now he's back in his body and I'm in mine, so it hardly was worse case scenario was it. I'm not gonna kill anyone so stop trying to convert me.''

"Oh very well then, keep him alive for all I care. It'll only lead him into swapping with someone else's body when the chance arrives, maybe even your mother's."

''We'll stop him.'' Astral said looking at the TV, not thinking about it too much. Ginyu was weak now and her friends were prepared for him in their last battle.

"He may be weak, but if he swaps with another, then that victim will be weak and caged. Ginyu would be free, maybe swap with someone else that was stronger. He can go from just a weakling to a strong foe with just a simple move. After all, he did that to you." Not even Astral's own thoughts were safe, Dark can tell what she thought in that moment.

Astral remembered Ginyu's yellow beam hitting the back of her throat initiating the swap, causing her to shiver a little. 'Anything but that again.' She thought.

"You can prevent that from ever happening to you or someone else, but yet you didn't. Like I said before, you're too damn soft."

''And I will, I didn't know him last time, but this time I do. It's not like I'm gonna let him switch with me is it?'' She then grew confident in her skills. ''Besides, my strength and powers have grown so much in such a short time, even if he gets strong. I'll fancy my chances against anyone in a fight from your team.''

"Oho... You say that now, but you have no idea how powerful I truly am. As long as I am in you, I will know what you think of Astral."

''Well it's not like you can control me is it? And there's not a chance I'll let that horned jerk get anywhere near me ever again.'' She said referring to Ginyu as she cringed slightly.

"... Are you sure about that? Also, thanks for telling me that Ginyu was alive. Because now, since you didn't KILL him..." A portal appeared on the ceiling above Astral. It was from Dark, using the body of Chronoa since he knows where Astral currently is.

Falling from the portal, Ginyu fell onto the girl and then rolled off her and the bed. "Fwahaha! I have no idea what's going on, but I am gonna take advantage of this great opportunity!"

''What the heck is going on!? Ginyu!?'' Astral leapt up in fighting posture. ''One more step and I'll break your teeth!''

"If only you killed him Astral, if you killed Ginyu then I would never free him and sent him after you." Dark then proceeded to laugh to himself, Astral's mistake might cost her with her body... AGAIN.

Ginyu spent no time to try and swap with Astral, already going into a pose. "CHANGE NOW!!!" A beam from Ginyu was sent directly at Astral.

''Oh no!'' The beam shot straight into her mouth! However it continued on through her, hitting the wall before bouncing back to him, as Astral's body was transparent. Returning back to normal from her ghost form, Astral kicked the captain in his face, crashing him downward. Astral then stomped on his head. ''No way I'm gonna fall for that again jerk!''

"But yet you almost did, and you almost swapped with him again. Remember what he has done to you, and how you and your mother suffered because of him. If only you killed him before, that would never have happened. But now... you can end him. Kill him, save those who would befall victim to his Body Change technique. Or would you rather keep him alive to do that again?" Dark's voice echoed once again in Astral's head.

"Grr... If only it was the other way around like last time..." Ginyu then started to charge and expel some of his energy, sending Astral back a bit as she regained her footing.

''Hey cut it out!'' Astral stamped on his head hard this time. Dark had a point, killing him might be the best way to save herself or someone else from ending up as his victim. ''No! Ginyu cut this out and get out of here, you lost and will continue to lose. The alternative is I kill you right now.'' She charged a small ki beam at his head.

"Yes... You finally get the point..." Dark continued to echo in Astral.

Ginyu flipped back on his feet, then did a pose. "Never! I need your body to serve Lord Dark, no matter what! It beats my current one any day!"

Astral sighed before shifting into her Astral Form. ''You can't switch with me while I'm like this.'' Then she talked internally in her mind to Dark. 'You think Ginyu used my body better than me? I've got skills he couldn't dream of doing.'

"I have seen your fight with Bulpan before the switch, then I have seen Ginyu used it. I do stand by what I said, unless you want to prove me otherwise." Dark stated.

"Neat trick, I can't wait to do it myself. You may be in that transparent form of yours, but I will not stop chasing you down." Ginyu proclaimed.

"He is right, and I can make sure he finds you anywhere. Unless... you do something for me." Now was the time, Dark had brewed up an idea to make sure she wouldn't get switched with Ginyu. Since he had the power to just teleport him where Astral is, he can surely stop it if Astral does something that Dark was thinking of.

Shifting back into normal form, Astral wasted no time kicking Ginyu in the knees, groin, and then gut. ''What is it?'' She then grabbed his horns, slamming him down to meet her boot in order to avoid damaging the floor.

As Astral was beating Ginyu up, Dark proposed a deal. "Give me control of your body. Do that and I'll send Ginyu away. Hell, I'll even call off my team from attacking you, your friends, and family. That also includes Soara, that traitorous filth. It's a sacrifice Astral, your body for your friends' safety."

''What kind of freakin' deal is that? Hardly sounds like a win, how could I even trust you'd hold your word?'' She put her hands on her hips, stamping on Ginyu again.

"I will, I'll even let you be conscious while I possess your body to make sure I keep my word. But, take back control of your body and I'll easily target you and your group again. You want me and the Dark Strike Force to leave you and the others alone, right? This is your chance Astral, your only chance." Dark's voice echoed louder than before in Astral's head, he meant it.

''GRR!'' Astral growled, holding another ki blast aimed at Ginyu's face. But... she just couldn't bring herself to kill him. ''Fine... as long as you leave my friends and family be...'' She sighed, lifting her boot from Ginyu's head.

Ginyu struggled to get up, turning to Astral in confusion. Why wouldn't she kill him? "Wh... What?"

"I will. Besides it was you who I was after, not your family and friends. Now... LET ME BE THE ONE IN CONTROL." Dark stated loudly in Astral's mind.

''Alright alright...'' Astral closed her eyes, taking in a deep breath as her expression looked slightly worried.

Astral could feel Dark's presence inside her grow and grow, even spreading throughout her body. As he was spreading, she felt uncomfortable. His possession of her was painful, it was starting to burn her from the inside. "Yes... Good Astral, good girl..."

At what was previously just a voice that caused her mental pain, now her entire body was in pain as she felt tingly everywhere, she wasn't quite sure what was happening to her, as her face looked as though she in great pain. ''Just... get it over with...'' Astral sighed.

It wasn't before long before Astral's body radiated with a dark purple aura. Her face sported a pleased look, as her eyes shined red for a split second. The process was complete, Dark is now in control of Astral's body. Next, he spoke with her voice. "So much untapped potential, so many powers I could use. Now then..." 'Astral looked at Ginyu, then bent down to start choking him.

"UCK... AUCK!" The alien struggled to breath, confused as to what happened with this sudden change in Astral.

Astral felt this flow of strange unfamiliar energy tingling throughout her body, as she took a backstep in her mind. However, still able to see through her own eyes. ''Wait what are you doing?'' She said, however quickly realised her lips didn't budge and she merely called out internally as Dark was doing previously.

'What do you think I am doing?' Dark said to Astral, as well as using Astral's own voice to communicate with her in her mind.

''But he's one your own fighters...'' Astral questioned.

'That may be true, but he failed even with such an uncanny ability. And because of that, I am ending him. I must thank you Astral, because of you, Ginyu will die. I'm doing you a favor as well, I know that you wanted to end his life before.'

''But you can't kill him! Stop!''

'Why wouldn't I? After all, I'm in control now!' Astral's body gripped tighter around Ginyu's neck, it would only be a few seconds more until he would suffocate. Dark wanted to drive home that the death of this enemy of Astral would be because of her.

''Guh! NO!'' Astral tried to gain back control, though it felt as though this dark energy in her body wanted her contained within her mind. The sight of her own hand choking someone to death arose a deep anger within her however. ''Damn you! I said stop it!'' Her evil facial expression subsided for just a moment as her grip loosened, with her body shifting slightly as the two fought for control.

'And here I thought we had a deal!" Dark tried to surpress Astral, wanting full control of her body.

During their internal struggle, Ginyu noticed that loosened grip around his neck. He saw his only chance to get out, and had to put aside getting Astral's body. Ginyu headbutted Astral's body away and to the ground, finally catching his breath as he was free. Turning around, he noticed an open window. "... You're really mad at what I did to you, huh?" Those were his final words, before flying at full speed out the window.

''Only when I thought you wouldn't kill anyone...'' Astral staggered, leaning up against the wall, next to the broken window as she felt her mental strength wavering. It was similar to when she possessed Soara, possible but incredibly hard to sustain for more than a moment.

"Unless you want me to continue targeting everyone you know, I suggest you let me back in control... NOW!" The entity said from within. "I am just upset you wouldn't let me give you the final push you needed."

Astral felt her sense of control shrink back into her mind once more, she also felt rather fatigued mentally. ''Fine, jeez... calm down alright.''

'Astral' got up from the floor, taking a seat on the bed in the room. "As I have said before, I'll give the order for my minions to not target your group as Chronoa. But if they continue to do so even after I give the order, I'll see fit that they are punished." Dark wanted to eliminate Astral as a threat to him, and since this is the only current way to do so, he would actually help them be protected from the Dark Strike Force just so Astral could be contained in some way.

''Well, at least that's something...'' Astral said internally, annoyed at the price she had to pay for it but hopefully it would be worth it.

Dark, as Astral, looked down to view a new body of his. He noticed the clothes, then notice how tight they were on this body. "Eh... These clothes are too tight, but I like the scarf though. First order of business..." Astral's body was manipulated to take off her current clothes, all but the underwear. Then, since Dark now pilots her body so he can use his powers in it, goo came the body's skin, which started to form clothes to his liking... which also had his color scheme. It was his armor, the armor he was wearing on Chronoa's body. However this was just for looks rather than actual defense, this armor was just a duplicate created from slime, nothing like the real one whatsoever. "Ah, much better. I feel less restrained than in that tight getup."

''Hey, that getup is MY getup! Also, don't you think people will recognize your color scheme?'' Astral was insulted, she always thought she had the coolest outfit out of everyone.

"No one in this universe would know who I am, since they never met me or heard of me. I'm safe here as I am... for now. Knowing my luck, I'll eventually be found but I'll prepare for that in due time." Dark stated, stretching his new limbs, Astral's limbs. "Well, I'm going to explore. Get myself acquainted with the area we're in. Don't you worry though Astral, I'm not going to kill anyone else... yet."

''I swear if you even try..'' Astral warned though she was still catching her mental breath back. ''Dammit, I'm gonna get billed for that window...'' She whined slightly.

"Right... that would inconvenience me as well." Dark, no matter the body, could use the powers he has or gained. Using Chronoa's time magic which he absorbed, he reversed time on the window. The window itself was going back in time, seemingly repairing itself. He then stopped, and the window was fixed.

''Oh that's a neat trick... Thanks...''

"Mind you that I am doing this for me, I don't wanna be billed when I just got this new body." Astral's body grumbled, and Dark knew what that meant. "Second order of business, getting something to eat." Wasting no time, Dark opened the door and took the key, locking it behind him and heading to where he could get some grub.

''Just don't go crazy, my metabolism isn't as good as my mom's. I'm only half-Sayian after all.''

"I know Astral, unlike my other and unlike a typical Saiyan I don't eat that much." 'Astral' headed out of the apartment to see the city, and with no one to go after him. Dark is going to be using Astral's body to his advantage, but would rather indulge on the opportunity he has received. Smiling, this Dark Astral headed onward to look for somewhere to eat.

"Neat trick, I can't wait to do it myself. You may be in that transparent form of yours, but I will not stop chasing you down." Ginyu proclaimed.

"He is right, and I can make sure he finds you anywhere. Unless... you do something for me." Now was the time, Dark had brewed up an idea to make sure she wouldn't get switched with Ginyu. Since he had the power to just teleport him where Astral is, he can surely stop it if Astral does something that Dark was thinking of.

Shifting back into normal form, Astral wasted no time kicking Ginyu in the knees, groin, and then gut. ''What is it?'' She then grabbed his horns, slamming him down to meet her boot in order to avoid damaging the floor.

As Astral was beating Ginyu up, Dark proposed a deal. "Give me control of your body. Do that and I'll send Ginyu away. Hell, I'll even call off my team from attacking you, your friends, and family. That also includes Soara, that traitorous filth. It's a sacrifice Astral, your body for your friends' safety."

''What kind of freakin' deal is that? Hardly sounds like a win, how could I even trust you'd hold your word?'' She put her hands on her hips, stamping on Ginyu again.

"I will, I'll even let you be conscious while I possess your body to make sure I keep my word. But, take back control of your body and I'll easily target you and your group again. You want me and the Dark Strike Force to leave you and the others alone, right? This is your chance Astral, your only chance." Dark's voice echoed louder than before in Astral's head, he meant it.

''GRR!'' Astral growled, holding another ki blast aimed at Ginyu's face. But... she just couldn't bring herself to kill him. ''Fine... as long as you leave my friends and family be...'' She sighed, lifting her boot from Ginyu's head.

Ginyu struggled to get up, turning to Astral in confusion. Why wouldn't she kill him? "Wh... What?"

"I will. Besides it was you who I was after, not your family and friends. Now... LET ME BE THE ONE IN CONTROL." Dark stated loudly in Astral's mind.

''Alright alright...'' Astral closed her eyes, taking in a deep breath as her expression looked slightly worried.

Astral could feel Dark's presence inside her grow and grow, even spreading throughout her body. As he was spreading, she felt uncomfortable. His possession of her was painful, it was starting to burn her from the inside. "Yes... Good Astral, good girl..."

At what was previously just a voice that caused her mental pain, now her entire body was in pain as she felt tingly everywhere, she wasn't quite sure what was happening to her, as her face looked as though she in great pain. ''Just... get it over with...'' Astral sighed.

It wasn't before long before Astral's body radiated with a dark purple aura. Her face sported a pleased look, as her eyes shined red for a split second. The process was complete, Dark is now in control of Astral's body. Next, he spoke with her voice. "So much untapped potential, so many powers I could use. Now then..." 'Astral looked at Ginyu, then bent down to start choking him.

"UCK... AUCK!" The alien struggled to breath, confused as to what happened with this sudden change in Astral.

Astral felt this flow of strange unfamiliar energy tingling throughout her body, as she took a backstep in her mind. However, still able to see through her own eyes. ''Wait what are you doing?'' She said, however quickly realised her lips didn't budge and she merely called out internally as Dark was doing previously.

'What do you think I am doing?' Dark said to Astral, as well as using Astral's own voice to communicate with her in her mind.

''But he's one your own fighters...'' Astral questioned.

'That may be true, but he failed even with such an uncanny ability. And because of that, I am ending him. I must thank you Astral, because of you, Ginyu will die. I'm doing you a favor as well, I know that you wanted to end his life before.'

''But you can't kill him! Stop!''

'Why wouldn't I? After all, I'm in control now!' Astral's body gripped tighter around Ginyu's neck, it would only be a few seconds more until he would suffocate. Dark wanted to drive home that the death of this enemy of Astral would be because of her.

''Guh! NO!'' Astral tried to gain back control, though it felt as though this dark energy in her body wanted her contained within her mind. The sight of her own hand choking someone to death arose a deep anger within her however. ''Damn you! I said stop it!'' Her evil facial expression subsided for just a moment as her grip loosened, with her body shifting slightly as the two fought for control.

'And here I thought we had a deal!" Dark tried to surpress Astral, wanting full control of her body.

During their internal struggle, Ginyu noticed that loosened grip around his neck. He saw his only chance to get out, and had to put aside getting Astral's body. Ginyu headbutted Astral's body away and to the ground, finally catching his breath as he was free. Turning around, he noticed an open window. "... You're really mad at what I did to you, huh?" Those were his final words, before flying at full speed out the window.

''Only when I thought you wouldn't kill anyone...'' Astral staggered, leaning up against the wall, next to the broken window as she felt her mental strength wavering. It was similar to when she possessed Soara, possible but incredibly hard to sustain for more than a moment.

"Unless you want me to continue targeting everyone you know, I suggest you let me back in control... NOW!" The entity said from within. "I am just upset you wouldn't let me give you the final push you needed."

Astral felt her sense of control shrink back into her mind once more, she also felt rather fatigued mentally. ''Fine, jeez... calm down alright.''

'Astral' got up from the floor, taking a seat on the bed in the room. "As I have said before, I'll give the order for my minions to not target your group as Chronoa. But if they continue to do so even after I give the order, I'll see fit that they are punished." Dark wanted to eliminate Astral as a threat to him, and since this is the only current way to do so, he would actually help them be protected from the Dark Strike Force just so Astral could be contained in some way.

''Well, at least that's something...'' Astral said internally, annoyed at the price she had to pay for it but hopefully it would be worth it.

Dark, as Astral, looked down to view a new body of his. He noticed the clothes, then notice how tight they were on this body. "Eh... These clothes are too tight, but I like the scarf though. First order of business..." Astral's body was manipulated to take off her current clothes, all but the underwear. Then, since Dark now pilots her body so he can use his powers in it, goo came the body's skin, which started to form clothes to his liking... which also had his color scheme. It was his armor, the armor he was wearing on Chronoa's body. However this was just for looks rather than actual defense, this armor was just a duplicate created from slime, nothing like the real one whatsoever. "Ah, much better. I feel less restrained than in that tight getup."

''Hey, that getup is MY getup! Also, don't you think people will recognize your color scheme?'' Astral was insulted, she always thought she had the coolest outfit out of everyone.

"No one in this universe would know who I am, since they never met me or heard of me. I'm safe here as I am... for now. Knowing my luck, I'll eventually be found but I'll prepare for that in due time." Dark stated, stretching his new limbs, Astral's limbs. "Well, I'm going to explore. Get myself acquainted with the area we're in. Don't you worry though Astral, I'm not going to kill anyone else... yet."

''I swear if you even try..'' Astral warned though she was still catching her mental breath back. ''Dammit, I'm gonna get billed for that window...'' She whined slightly.

"Right... that would inconvenience me as well." Dark, no matter the body, could use the powers he has or gained. Using Chronoa's time magic which he absorbed, he reversed time on the window. The window itself was going back in time, seemingly repairing itself. He then stopped, and the window was fixed.

''Oh that's a neat trick... Thanks...''

"Mind you that I am doing this for me, I don't wanna be billed when I just got this new body." Astral's body grumbled, and Dark knew what that meant. "Second order of business, getting something to eat." Wasting no time, Dark opened the door and took the key, locking it behind him and heading to where he could get some grub.

''Just don't go crazy, my metabolism isn't as good as my mom's. I'm only half-Sayian after all.''

"I know Astral, unlike my other and unlike a typical Saiyan I don't eat that much." 'Astral' headed out of the apartment to see the city, and with no one to go after him. Dark is going to be using Astral's body to his advantage, but would rather indulge on the opportunity he has received. Smiling, this Dark Astral headed onward to look for somewhere to eat.
