While completing a recent commission, the commissioner asked about my personal pony character. Which made me realize, I didn't have a pony oc! I made one years ago, but wasn't satisfied and so took her down, and have been ponyless since then. That needed to change.

This is Strawberry Pixel. She's a bit of a nerd, loving to read (especially sci-fi, fantasy, and historical fiction), watch TV shows and movies (especially the same), and totally fangirling over the stuff she loves. Her favorite TV show is Doctor Hooves, her favorite color is pink, her favorite food is strawberries. Despite it all, she's also a bit country, using words like "y'all" a lot, and enjoying her cottage set back in the woods a bit. She is the owner of a bookstore in Ponyville.

When creating Strawberry Pixel, I didn't want to go overboard. In keeping with the theme of the show, I wanted to create a pony that fit in with the artistic style of the show -- in other words, a pony that you wouldn't think twice about if you saw her trotting down the road in the background of an episode. To that end, I borrowed bits and pieces to create the pony I wanted. Her eyes I took from Fluttershy, her body from Twilight. Her mane is a combination of Applejack's cousins Candy Apples and Apple Cider. I've had long hair most of my life, and when it is long I keep it mostly in a single braid. However, I currently have it short; to reflect that, I gave her Big McIntosh's tail (although it doesn't look as short on her as it does on him, lol). The rest was just pure me.

Feel free to tell me what you think -- if you like her design, if you think it would look better another way, if you see a mistake in the artwork or a typo and want to bring it to my attention.
