Β Great Minds think alike!

Β I drew something similar to this and I showed it to my friends. They said I was gross. I felt really hurt by that, but when I look back at it now now, I should not of gotton so upset. I want to express my feelings and the weird way about me that I am thankful for, though my art. Those friends were not really friends.

Very creative use of anatomy here, the tones are stunning. I think the use of red drwas you more into the image/ the characters. Well done in deed! Β

Aww...I really feel for that one on the right X3

I think one of the things that I really enjoy about your work is that you find that fine balance between making the shapes that you enjoy making, and being anatomically correct. That's one thing that drives me nuts, I feel like I have to try to be as close to anatomically correct as possible, but sometimes you just want to say "Fuck it" and do what you like doing, so kudos on that, I really respect that. :]

thanks very much, it can be difficult to maintain a balance between respecting the original form and creating the image that I want, but it's something I do always fight to achieve.
thanks again!

You're most welcome ^^
I think the hardest part is trying to chase away those voices in your head that try to tell you how something is supposed to be. It's hard to remember that you're your own rule maker sometimes... X3
