Heartache is one half a diptych I created for a recent show at Talon Gallery in Portland, OR. www.talongallery.com/beneath.h…each painting in the diptych is 16" by 20", painted in watercolor, acrylic, and pen & ink.

This is unsettling in just the right way!
Question: why does the bunny have pupils of even toed ungulates? The humanoid eye, since it's on a humanoid hand, makes sense. Is it because it has antlers?
