Xavier? Seems a bit too ordinary though. I would go and look into leaders from medieval countries and then find out what those names mean, if possible. I did a thing recently where I just looked up translations of "hero" or "superhero" to create Lithuanian, Finnish, and South African characters. Other languages are usually a more interesting way to find names, and especially names that have a meaning if that's what you're looking for.
