The first one was just a step-by-step repeat of what you have here. Anyways, I plan on doing a more official piece/portrait with these flames, so I'll show you that when it gets done, too.

Good I like it.
Tip though: Try to make the flames go in one direction instead of haphazard. Typically flames go upwards, but try drawing them going in a direction you want them to go.
Still very good though.
