A work up from a double page splash from my Graphic Novel 'Vessel'. This image is used as an establishing shot for the docks. The Puffin is the only surviving fishing mech in the backwards sliding colony.Related content

Years ago) was actually for another piece about this very same robot. That one was the germ of my whole graphic novel

It goes down as a submersible and targets very specific fish. Stores them alive in its tanks and returns them to the surface. It's original purpose was for specimen collection for the colony but things went badly wrong and now it's just used to catch dinner
