Yeah, unfortunately it's a redraw of that one screencap everyone references for this challenge 
I did this last year because I wanted to improve my cellshading, this perspective and force myself to draw some sort of background. However, I decided to change up her design a bit to look more like her manga design and to look slightly more unique outside of directly referencing it; kinda like putting my own spin on it. I'm happy with it although certain mistakes really bother me . . . and I just noticed I forgot a bit of shading on her choker. LOL! Oh well.

Please note: This was done purely for education purposes and as an artist's study. Also you can find that screencap pretty easy, but I thought it best to still include it anyway. Mostly for people who want to see how bad mine is compared to the original XD I REALLY hated drawing from the angle and that collar. . . Plus you can see how different it really is.

I think the latter ones of Crystal were an improvement . . . probably. It's been too many years since I watched it and I can't watch it on sites like crunchyroll/hulu or buy the DVD so . . . to be honest I don't really remember 
Although I generally don't like the latest trend of making animation/cartoons too clean looking (if that even makes sense. LOL), for example I'm not even really fond of the style for CardCaptor Sakura Clear Card and even Fruit's Basket - even though I've never watched the original or read the story - because they just look . . . weird, and it's the same with various cartoons that have come out over the years. I think it's possibly the colours . . . but I don't know. So I just don't watch anything like that anymore.
