I've also never actually seen Reese Witherspoon with her spoon. Where is this alleged spoon she's supposed to carry around all the time? Is it invisible?...

If the show was suddenly revived, WB would have used this for sure.
Ah pop culture, where would we be without your infinite......Comedy potential?

If the show was suddenly revived, I'd be so happy I'd grin until the corners of my mouth met in the back of my head.
But yeah; I could see them using this joke. Comedy potential indeed.

Perhaps is Rugger can get clearance and if they ditch Spielberg at long last, it could happen, I'm sure Rob and Maurice wouldn't mind playing this duo again. But we'll see I guess.

Honestly, I don't see why they'd have to ditch Spielberg; he'd probably be okay with it. The only problem I could see is that most of the people involved have gone on to other things by now.
Maurice LaMarche and Rob Paulsen have recently reprised their roles as Pinky and the Brain on advertisements for "Animaniacs" on the Hub channel, which has started running reruns of said show. So yeah, I'm sure they'd be up for it.

Well Spielberg was only there for window dressing, Tom Reugger was the real brains behind many of the Warner Bros. shows and I always disliked it when Spielberg feels he needs to plaster his name over everything and take top billing from the real creators, it's sad.
I'm glad to hear both Maurice and Rob still have that uniqueΒ chemistry together, even if it is for show promos.

Actually, Spielberg was more involved in the show than you might think. Everything went across his desk, and he offered up more than a few ideas. Spielberg's a fan of classic cartoons, especially Looney Tunes, and his decision to produce a cartoon was inspired by trying to bring something of that caliber back. (Which is arguably what Animaniacs/Pinky and the Brain did.) Reugger was of course one of, if not the, biggest creative force behind the show, but everyone involved contributed to some degree aside from their actual "job"; much like the Termite Terrace days of the aforementioned Looney Tunes.

I'm someone who would like to give where credit was due, I feel that although Spielberg was involved, I feel that Tom Reugger should have been given more credit then he was given for all his 90's Warner Bros., but that's just me.

Hmm... Fair enough. Maybe Ruegger didn't want any more credit, though? There's something to be said for humility, after all...
I know one of the things I personally like about doing cartoons is that I'm usually not in the spotlight. I'd much rather have the spotlight on my characters than me.

I'm of the opinion 'Give credit where credit is due' and don't try to piggy back of the success of others, which Spielberg did until the founding of DreamWorks.
That's fair enough, though having an avatar and username after your main character I'll bet doesn't help matters...But then it does....I'm now confused....Well played, sir.

Well, all I know is that Ruegger and everyone else involved did an absolutely phenomenal job on those shows. So hats off to the lot of them, him included.
And on the second part... just don't think about it too much. Wouldn't want you spraining a synapse or anything..
