Something I've been working on occasionally over the past month. It's more of a personal piece--representing the stage of life I'm in right now.

Up until recently, things have been rough. I've felt depressed, anxious, and lost for a long time, and it's been a struggle trying to figure out what to do with myself now that I'm out of high school. Finally, though, a year after graduating, I feel like I'm starting to gain some traction in my life. It's certainly not perfect, but I'm getting somewhere, and that relieves some of the burden that has been hanging over me for so long.

Sadly, the dandelion seeds in the background got eaten a little bit by my scanner. RIP cool dandelion dudes ;w;

Btw, I used dandelion seeds because of how frequently certain people like to complain about them. "THEY'RE WEEDS!!!" You know what, you curmudgeon? They're pretty.

Using them here is kind of a message to myself: "Do whatever you want to do and love whatever--or whomever--you want to love."

Drawing this was definitely therapeutic in a way for me. Hopefully it does something for you too! No matter what stage you are in at this point in your life, know that you are doing enough and that bad days won't last! I'm here to talk if anyone needs it!
