that era of Therion was one of the best things that could had ever happen to death metal. Even today their stuff is some of the best in my book

i know that not all people (and even metallers) have friendly relation to death metal. For example , an artist can draw such picture. I'm not against their dead music, but i don't understand why they take others' songs and play them in their own death manner. Therion have taken Thor from Manowar and Under Jolly roger from Running Wild. These songs are cheerful, glorious hopeful fight, (Thor also is a beautiful legend). So the death style doesn't fit for these songs.
