1st of all, thank you for detailed comment, yes, I feel myself more as a pastel painter then an oils one. In fact, I have never tried oil or other paints seriously, because I could not abandon pastels since I had been working with it. I use both hard and soft (mostly soft) chalks, and also use pastel pencils to make scetch and contour. I always draw on dark paper - deep green (indigo) or black. This artwork is made on black canson-mi teintes paper.
About book - yes, it is a great idea! But I can't release it because russian books or tipografies might not be interested in it. I'll try to link with them and suppose this affair cos it's really cool idea. But they might decline my offer - it's very difficult to make busyness in Russia

I was wondering ,you say its hard to get any thing published in Russia ..I bet it is a lot easier to do so hear in America have you ever considered contacting an American publisher .you work is very good .I also noticed you do a lot of illustration work I know publishers are always looking for good illustrators hear in the states ..I donβt know exactly how to go about contacting them but I am sure you could find out how on the internet some where .. You have a great deal of talent .and I really love the way you portray your fungus in the forest settings .. If I had the money I would offer to by one but as im sure you know artists rarly have money
take care and look into getting your work published ok you have a gift that needs to be shared
pax vobiscum
Krishna

thanks for your warm comment! (due to affairs I could not reply earlier
It's a good idea to contact somehow with american publishers, but the fact that I don't live in USA makes big problems, also, they should have some rivalry between professional artists. Perheps I'llbe able to sell them prints and they pay me on master card. This is difficult though. I shpould try also to sell something in Russia, I plan 3 exibitions and I believe that 2-3 paintings will be bought... I hope.

you like how I did the trees! sweet! Eh, some people dislike these trees for they are dark and grim... But it is a try to show how the mushroom is bright, because it looks so vivid due to the dark forest, hill and river.
