Hey, it's been a while... but I'm back, kind of...I've been trying to do a more painterly thing but it's really hard to keep myself from adding details and refining since that used to be all I cared about
If you guys like this then I have a lot more like it I'll upload, if not then I might go back to how I was working... but I also might not because I really like painting like this XD
Anyway, I hope you enjoy!

PS: Once I finish my portfolio I promise to upload more personal work/fanart I just have so much work to do and so many decisions to make, you know?

I love the loose, painterly style of this! I would definitely like to see more similar illustrations. I also have that detail problem, with wanting to make everything *absolutely perfect* ... I'm trying to paint more with watercolors to help loosen up cause they tend to be a little unforgiving!

It's also scary, because I know when I put in details people will be impressed even if the rest of the image sucks, but when you don't put in the details and the image sucks... the image just sucks

I really like being painterly but a lot a people just take it as too unrefined to be a proper illustration (at least for mine)
You have a really nice gallery, I especially like "Archer" and "Drop of Water", they both have really cool compositions
