Description
The roof has caved-in on the brick house where the fire began, and the attick "vent" of the second house is now spewing smoke worse than a cuban sigar smoker on a nervous breakdown. There's no saving the two houses, at this point it is a matter of gaining control over the fire, and putting out the small fire that had begun on a third house (right accross the street from my house)

Police have backed out and made room for the second precinct truck arriving. There's now a good crowd gathering to watch from a distance (mostly on our side of the street and further down the street.)
