Daniel 2 Statue - Nebuchadnezzar's Dream

According to the biblical record, the king dreamt of a great image of a man; its head are made of gold, its chest and arms are that of silver, its belly and thighs are bronze, its legs are iron while its feet are made of part iron and part of potter's clay, which unfortunately cannot be mixed together. Later on in his night vision, the king saw a rock that struck the image's feet—blowing it all up into smithereens. The rock later on became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.
This may seem a little bit bizarre like the dreams we have when we eat pizza late at night but never in our wildest dreams do we expect that this dream would prove the existence of an intelligent and all knowing God and that we have nothing to fear for the future because history is in His hands.
