Hey there guys, so here is a new painting that I'm currently working on. I had this background idea yesterday with someone standing on a rock looking into the distance, or something like that. I've been working on the background for quite awhile trying to figure out the lighting/mood and composition of this piece. I had a figure drawn in and I wasn't sure who it was going to be, but after while of messing with the character, I figured that I'd continue with drawing the characters from Avatar the Last Air Bender, so I decided to draw Aang.

This piece will take me quite awhile to actually complete, but so far it has a lot going for it, so I'm really looking forward to seeing how the end product will turn out. I'm continuing with trying to learn perspective, and I'm also continuing with learning human anatomy, and even though I'm not finished with it, I decided to try and draw a full body with this piece to see how it'll turn out anyway.
