Well here be my first ever attempt at trying to draw Applebloom! I wanted to go with a more simple style background, and try some new technique ideas that I had learned over a course of time but never bothered to try and implement before. I apologize if this piece turned out a bit too bright, I meant to go with a more intense lighting, but I think I may have over done it a bit! XD
Nonetheless, I do hope that ya'll enjoy this pic of Applebloom! ^^

Nice painterly style drawing you did here. You got a unique look going on here with the character anatomy, especially with the face and eyes. The pose fits the running down the road well but perspective wise it looks a little flat. The background is great to look at and the log on the left with the grass add a bit of a far from home vibe while the apple barrels suggest that she's somewhat close bye. A little more objects in the distance in the middle or right side would really give this picture a lot more atmosphere to it because thats what its got going for it.
Over all a pretty good picture.

Yeah, I am really liking how the bodies are turning out, makes them look a bit cleaner imo. And it's also a bit easier to shade instead of all them fluffs! XD And I'll do my best to keep up the good work! Thank you my friend!

Thank you very much, I'm glad to hear that the barrel came out alright, I was hoping it would! ^^ And I never knew exactly what art style I was giving my art, but when ya say impressionist, I have to say, it does look quite a bit like impressionist art, especially them barrel's!
