Hmm... well I should have been done with this a few days ago, and I've only been able to work on this on and off, around my work schedule to finally finish it. I'm not exactly sure where I was going with this to be honest! XD I think that I had an idea of a portal, and it still sort of is, but it leads to basically another dimension that Luna can go through, and only she knows where to find it... I think that's roughly the idea of this piece when I made it.I kinda made a few mistakes, but meh, I still had fun making it, and I'll try to fix the mistakes in my next piece! ^^

I love this! There's so many ways the scene can be interpreted and the colour choices match very nicely with each other. The style is also not one i've seen before. Did you start with a black/white drawing on this, or did you jump right to colours for the details?

Where do you get all these ideas? I mean, the environments for your pictures. Some times I have the feeling that they are even better than the ponies themselves!

Haha, I don't really know, they just come to me as I draw. And I think that myself at times, and I think that it has a lot to do with the fact that I work a bit harder on the backgrounds than I do the character, because other than the character him/herself, I'm really trying to sell the scene, because to the viewer they can make their own interpretation of what's going on in the piece.Β

Thank you man, and yeah, I like the dark look, it seems to help me set the mood I'm looking for. I'm trying to find ways to make my pieces look lighter, though to be honest I find it to be difficult at times, simply because setting up the light source to where I want the viewer to look is a bit harder, than when a room is all dark, and only a few places are lit up! XD
Practice makes perfect though, I'm sure I'll get it right sometime! ^^ Thank you again for the compliment, I'm glad to hear ya like my pic of Luna! ^^
