Alright y'all, I finally have finished my Venom picture. I originally was going to upload the "traditional" finished piece, but I messed up a bit on it due to the shading process... and let me tell ya, when I was shading it I was shading Venom in his black suit, and black has to be the hardest color to shade for me. Since it didn't turn out the way I originally wanted it to, I still wanted to show you guys a finished Venom pic, so I took my old sketch and worked on it as much as I could and decided to give Venom the purple like suit, the one that is similar to the Ultimate Spiderman version.

I spent several hours working on this, went through a much different painting process than I typically do, and tried out several different ideas. The biggest thing that I did here than I do with all of my other paintings is that I didn't do much blending, I decided to keep a lot of the brush strokes to keep a somewhat "painted" look, but did do a bit of blending to soften certain areas.

So yeah, a different painting style actually turned out to be rather cool. I haven't drawn Venom since I was about 7 or 8 years old, so drawing him again was a ton of fun! I think that I may try drawing him again some point in the future, and see how I could make him look even cooler! ^^
