I'd be very grateful, if you give me serious and helpful critique!
Well, I won't change anything on this piece (I can't, it's watercolor), so please ignore the anatomy issues and the bad color distribution - But, however, do you have some tips for drawing with watercolors? I'm having some serious trouble, as you can see... ^^'
btw: I don't like it... her face/hair is totally messed up... the sketch was so much better ;__;

I desperately tried to make her superior and arogant, but the sketch was much much better than the finished work.
But I'm glad there is something left of that impression I wanted to give ^__^

It's probably your used to sketching than painting :3 So what you tried to convey in the picture came out more in the original than the finished piece. Overall, it's still wonderful :3

I think you did well colouring this. Watercolours are hard tools to colour with but when you get the hang of them, it's really nice and smooth to work with them. Just remember not to paint on too wet paper in order to make clean details, and not to mention not have too much colour or water on your paint-brush. But for me it seems like you're doing well with the watercolours.

Yes, I use too dark colors and often too much water (-> the coat was such a pain, because I absolutely lost control). I was drawing landscape stuff and such in my watercolor "lessons" (just a kind of club), I recently started trying to color drawings... guess I need a lot of practice to handle this medium... ^^'

I go to those kinds of "lessons" as well outside of school like drawing and graphic arts. They're very good training and they really help you to improve.

yeah, I'm attending to one of thouse courses for more than a year now - back then was a total rookie xD'
But it's not really a course - more a meeting with others, mostly people who never touched a brush, so our "teacher" helps us individually and motivates us, but it's great! ^__^
