I know how you feel though...I practically drool over them at bookstores (after drooling over other books and art magazines)...So many references that could be used from the manga! xDD

For example.... ((begin rant...))
The other evening, my mother and I sat down to work on editing our Christmas movie. We make one for the parties my mom's started holding.
I, the technical editor, the one who pushes buttons and make things work, am not happy with the way the movie is going. I feel it is too random, and not good enough, and I share these thoughts with my mom. She grows offended, starts dissing my opinion, says "Everyone except YOU likes it," and goes on being a total jerk.
And later, SHE said that she thought I wanted to delete the whole movie and start over, when I CLEARLY STATED that I wanted to REEDIT IT.
And wouldn't listen to me when I tried to say what I actually said.
And because of recent editing projects, my mother's gotten the idiotic idea that I'm a brilliant editor with a great future in that career, and has been rushing around like an idiot, trying to find all the colleges with that sort of major.
And so, that was when she went behind my back and discussed a college with my dad.
And then she found a movie contest from said college, and told me I should submit something. I, feeling my skill was not up to par, said so. And she went on about how I'd never get anywhere in life if I kept not doing things because I dont' think I'm good enough. But I don't think so; I KNOW I'm not good enough. Which is utterly and totally different from false modesty.

Maybe what she's trying to say is that you should at least give it a try for the movie contest?
...I know I'm usually unsure about my drawings (and most of my other stuff)...(For example, I almost didn't post the KakuSaku drawing I did...but then I asked IvyAdrena to check it for me, and she liked it alot, and that it was very nice...which is why it was posted.)
