there's not a lot of Vic lore here but!! he is not a great person!! which is not -entirely- his fault but a good part of it is

Vic was a CIA recruit who was scouted by a freelance mercenary group and began training under them at around 18. he has never had an issue hurting or killing other people, and any shreds of remorse, kindness, or compassion he started with were buried LONG ago

after his mentor and partner's death, he did even less scrupulous freelance work for a few years, taking fun jobs like "torture the secretary of a law firm to scare her bosses into coughing up the money they owe a crime lord". From there he went into private security and mellowed out a LITTLE but it didn't take long before he was back on his bullshit

he wound up kidnapping a wannabe "spy" out of spite and to prove a point, but his victim inspired him to get back into freelance work. At the time of this revenge livestream, Vic Shepard has identified as a problem for 32 slutty slutty years

(the stream itself is an alternate universe from his main story, but I thought I'd let the aforementioned secretary have a go at him)
