not much more to say, but i just really wanna give a HUGE shout out to *Saphirawolf because she SAVED MY LIFE with this thing. seriously bby, thank you SO much for all the animal / creature anatomy help ( and the cargo pants LOL ), you made this possible!

HUMAN

Name: Aaron Strife
Age: 17
DOB: 12th May 1994
Gender: Male

Personality:
Short-fused, straight-forward and the type to talk before thinking, Aaron tends to look arrogant and unfriendly. He's usually very serious and doesn't have much of a sense of humour, but in actuality he's pretty laid back and nice to have around, having had a lot of friends in school, and was mostly known for looking after everyone else and taking the role of the big brother.
He has very strong beliefs and is stubborn as a mule; “debating” is a concept he has yet to fully grasp, so he’s had his share of heated arguments. Gets angry very easily, but for the most part, has good intentions.

History:
Born in Jacksonville, Florida, Aaron had a normal life, only difference being he grew up without a mother. It never really affected him during childhood; his father’s love for him was always worth for both.
Ever since he was very young he could remember wanting to be a soldier, and fight for the US Army. His father was a Master Sergeant in the Air Force and Aaron’s hero, which prompted him to follow in his footsteps. When Aaron turned 12, dad could no longer take the lighter missions in order to care for his child and had to be deployed – so the boy was put in Riverside Military Academy, Gainesville. Aaron was a hardworking student, had good grades, was excellent at physical trainings as well as a member of the football team, and was generally a good kid, despite a couple of fights.
Then things went wrong and, before Aaron could graduate, he ended up in Monster World.

Relationship with Monster:
Aaron and Haures are the very definition of a love-hate relationship. Aaron cannot for the life of him stand Haures, but at the same time has grown used to the beast’s sarcastic nature and unbearable antics. They can be seen arguing with each other for the simplest of reasons 99.9% of the time, but when it comes down to it, they’re quite the unbeatable duo, knowing exactly how to take advantage of the other’s skills to enhance their own.

Other:
• He doesn’t like people touching his hat.
• He’s not very good with girls, since he’s been in an all-boys school for the past five years. For that reason, when faced with an actual, full-fledged girl, he treats them as a fragile being and tries to be careful with them.
• His pet iguana is named Mary Jane and Aaron loves her to death. She was a gift from his dad when he joined the academy, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. He talks to her as if she were a person.
• He carries a 4” long Butterfly knife in one of his pockets, and knows how to use it pretty well, including a few tricks.
• Has his wrists covered at all times, only takes off his wristbands to take a shower.
• Doesn't like Monster World all that much, but needs a place to relax and actually think about what to do with his life, which also explains his attempts at being distant; he tries not to get too attached to people because he doesn’t intend on staying for long.

MONSTER

Name: Haures ( How – rehs )
Gender: Male
Diet: Carnivore

Personality:
As expected from a Badlands creature, Haures is, for lack of a better term, a bitch. Big and muscular, he enjoys pissing people off, being painfully blunt, and generally not give a fuck about what other people might think of him. He’s self-righteous and obnoxious, and can be extremely dangerous if you get on his bad side. He didn’t relate with any other monsters unless they were food, until he started hanging out with Aaron, and he’s still snarky.

Relationship with Human:
Haures adores pushing Aaron’s buttons and watching the boy erupt in anger. He knows exactly where to land the hammer and more often than not, he hits the nail. He doesn’t, however, do anything that would genuinely upset the boy and helps him when in need, as he feels like he has this inevitable connection with him. On better days, he lets him ride on his back.
Still, arguing with him brings him great joy.

Other:
• He speaks in this sort of telepathy that sounds very much like an echo, since talking through his actual mouth ( located in his abdomen ), would be incredibly inconvenient.
• As to the mouth located in his head, it just serves as an opening to expel acids and other poisonous and nasty substances. His blood is poisonous as well.
• That grin isn’t actually a grin; his mouth is naturally shaped like that.
• Goes along with Mary Jane quite well, himself being of a reptile nature. This conspiracy frustrates Aaron even more, and just adds to the monster’s delight.

Awesome Pet Iguana

Name: Mary Jane
Age: 7
Gender: Female

Personality:
Hard to impress, Mary Jane doesn’t really do much other than laze around and move her tail; she just sticks to eating and staying put or traveling on Aaron’s shoulders. She can be very curious when she can’t recognize where she is or who she’s with – in which cases she’ll explore as much as possible, or analyze the person’s every move. This really gets on Aaron’s nerves and makes him worry, but in the end she gives just as much of a fuck as Haures.

Other:
• It has to be Mary Jane. Not Mary, not Jane; Mary Jane.
• Or MJ, whatever floats your boat.
