Little sketchy artwork of Violet cxtried some new painting technique, but itβs not looking the way I want yet... more reason to draw little Violets :-D

I tried to work with the airbrush-brush, but I haven't completely figured out yet how you use it so well!
I did however find another nice fine painty brush on the procreate forums, which I used to paint this, so
I'm kinda happy now haha :-D

It's INCREDIBLY tedious (I really really need to learn a better way to work digitally that isn't so labor intensive). It's basically using the airbrush at different transparencies and a LOT of color-picking to blend. I'm so used to traditional painting and that's basically what I do - everything on one layer, one brush, haha. I did look up a few tutorials and different methods over the last few days though that I'm going to try out.

That does sound like crazy amounts of works! Guess thats why I couldnt make it work, I wasnt ready to invest time into colourpicking to blend Dx
i oftentimes also use the smudge tool with a very grainy brush to blend when Iβm lazy but well... you can see that I was lazy...
itβs been so long since I last drew traditionally, excluding pencil sketches.... i do kinda miss drawing with acrylic paint, but itβs both expensive and always so much to clean up... not that I have any space to set uo an art station rn //sad
anyway, practice makes perfect! I really recommend looking up brushes in the procreate forums, they are usually free and some are really awesome :> my foliage brush set was completely free too!Β
