Those are not hummingbirds. It's a butterfly looking so much like a hummingbird that part of its name is 'hummingbird'. I didn't know such a butterfly existed before I was lucky enough to discover them in my garden. On the pictures they seem as big as birds but I used the zoom to have a close-up look of them. They're bigger than common butterflies but nowhere near a real hummingbird.
They're as beautiful and fascinating as the bird. I litterally spent hours trying to have at least one clear picture. They fly like a hummingbird and it makes it really difficult to photograph them. But they're so amazing I know next year I'll be waiting for them again.
