An Awful long time ago, when Driftwood Shores was calm and peaceful, there was a beautiful sunflower, the most beautiful of all that lived in a humble lighthouse of a small island. She was strong, radiant and adored by all plant kind. She was the Mega Flower.

One day a ship crashed on the island, And it made all the plants roots shiver as they wonder what happened. They went where the crash occurred only to find a tremendous disaster.

The ship was filled with numerous people that tried to escape from the zombies that had invaded the ports… but many were too scared about escaping, that the panic took control of the people aboard and ended up crashing along the coast of the island.

Those whom died in that ship turned into zombies and started attacking all the surviving passengers and any plant kind in the island, making them the first casualties of this war.
When all zombies where vanquished, the plants searched deep inside the ship looking if there was maybe someone still alive. And there it was a weak young girl was lying inside a chest hiding from the hungry creatures that were just vanquished. Her short black hair covered her eyes and her skin was frozen white, she looked exhausted like she was about to faint. She was locked in that chest for too long, causing her to become sick. She hardly could breathe and her weary eyes were calling for the end of her.

The plants took her in a hurry to the Mega Flower if there was something that she could do to save her, Unfortunately there was nothing that she could do, her healing power only worked on plants. All of them were requesting her safety because there wasn’t much time left before she could turn in a zombie.

So then it approached to the scene a mighty Chomper, the oldest of all. Every plant moved away, leaving a path for the Chomper to have a closer look. As he examined the poor thing his jaw just turned to the mega flower and spoke. “My majesty, I’m only another plant on this garden and maybe my knowledge it´s not too much, but I know what could bring life to this poor creature again.”

All of them looked at the Sunflower, waiting for her answer.

“Tell me what it’s what you need, and I will do as you say”

The Chomper didn’t hesitate and asked “Give me four of your best seeds, the strongest that you have and make a cactus insert them, one in this girl’s chest near her heart, the second one between her eyes, the third in her left hand and the last one in her right foot “.

They did as he said, and nailed the seeds where the Chomper had explained. This seeds brought calm to the girl but still they didn’t make her healthy enough to keep her alive.

The Chomper pulled her up with his tongue and kept her in his mouth like a cradle, cooing her. He started to mumble a sweet lullaby, so warm and calm that made her fall to sleep. His lullaby wasn’t something that other plant’s have heard before, but for this time they were together in singing of this charming song.

While other plants started to keep alive the singing, the Chomper´s voice was getting lower after lapse of the song. And the ones that were there could see how the chomper was getting weaker and weaker by the time and with it his mouth closed trapping the girl inside.

When they noticed the chomper has expired, they tried to open his mouth to take out the girl out… but they couldn’t do it, his jaw was sealed, and his rough skin was to though to break. The other plants just couldn’t understand what has happened, there was no other chomper around to explain the situation.

The Mega Flower was kinda upset. She knew how the power of healing worked on plants, but she never wonder beyond on the properties of a chomper.
She asked the other plants to bring the dead chomper to her, to revive him. But when she tried to, she couldn’t be able to do it… instead she recognized the presence of a plant inside him, she lend a healing beam through the chompers skin and felt the girl who was gaining health, And the healthier she got the warmer the chomper body was getting. By the moment she was fully healed the chompers skin cracked.

Some cactus lend a hand and ended breaking the chompers skin and body like an egg shell, inside the girl was different… her black hair turned purple as the one that was porting her, and her skin turned to a warm shade of orange.
Still deep inside the chomper the Mega Flower tried to look at her a little bit more closely to realize that in fact the girl somehow had transformed herself into the essence of a sunflower.

She didn’t mind her appearance in fact just after looking at her she claimed “Now that this creature that was brought with death, now shall live among us. Receive this sprout as one of you and welcome her as she was your own relative. Our legacy it’s spared!”

In that moment all plant kind were formed into a big family, all in the island was rejoicing about their new member. The Mega Flower gained the title of “mother” and took care as much as she was able to. Learning about her new “daughter” and raised her on the knowledge of healing.

The girl was able to grow as one of them more that we could expect. She didn’t recall her name or anything about her past, it didn’t matter for her anymore, the plant kind decided to give her a name based on the way she acted. Filled of wonder and joy, Fantasia was the name that they gave her. She was not mad about not knowing where she came from, she never asked, she lived in the moment with all her loved ones.

And sometimes when the sun hides by the sunset, she uses to walk across the beach, she starts singing the same lullaby that the old Chomper sung for her once, and she can’t explain why or how she knows that song but it always brought a smile to her face when she started singing.

However, only once did she ever asked about her father… Nobody could give an answer.
