Feather: *hugs Manic* Come 'on sweetheart, everyone's gathering downstairs for some games and you're the guest of honor. And don't be afraid to let me know if you need something. Or if you start to feel tired just let me know and we can get a bed set up for you, with soft pillows and lots of blankets! Maybe we can even convince Ryan to let you borrow his teddy bear.

Ha ha wow Manic would be so happy there! Especially since he's never been allowed to ask for anything unless he was asked first. The thought of a nice warm clean bed and a teddy bear he would be in heaven ;D

Feather: *smiles brightly* Well we're more than happy to give them to him. We'll even let him pick where he wants to sleep! *whispers in Manic's ear* I recommend the family room by the fireplace; it's nice and cozy and has lots of fur blankets and pillows and is nice and quiet in the morning (and in our house it's nothing short of a miracle). And sometimes Rose will come in and read and bring some warm tea or cocoa. I don't she'd mind sharing with you if you asked for some, though she'd probably offer you some if you awake.

Feather: *smiles* Don't worry sweetheart, you have nothing to be scared about; you're safe here and we won't let anything bad happen to you. *kisses his forehead and gets up and starts to walk out of the room, fingering her knife* (whispers, half to herself) I certainly can't say the same for your dad though...

He'd be at loss... truth is hey may end up migrating to wherever Feather is during the night just to make sure he's safe..

Feather: *turns and smiles motherly at Manic* Yes sweetheart, you're safe. You'll never have to be scared of anything ever again. You know, believe it or not, you're not the first unwanted kid I've helped out. (though you're very much wanted here, don't you worry about that). Thunder was turned into a "dangerous fugitive" in his homeland Firestorm Island by invaders known as the ABS and arrested and imprisoned because of what he was. Birch was cast out of his Pack because of his deformities, and because of them his Pack mates thought he was cursed and would bring some great evil upon them; one of his Pack mates tore off his ear and led a hunting party to chase him out and then kill him. Cherry was found on our doorstep half dead. Ryan was abandoned by his abusive parents and then arrested because of a power he couldn't control. Bone and Twilight were deceived and threatened by their own mother, who threatened to take Twilight's life if he didn't steal the things she wanted. Scourge and Snipps were petty thieves living on the streets and unbeknownst drank an experimental government formula that forced them into becoming merciless killers and were imprisoned without any real knowledge as of why (Scourge had no real memory of what he did and Snipps is still haunted by it). Taros was a secret government experiment about to be terminated that escaped, but more than once was recaptured and tortured. Tooth was deceived and forced to kill other Wereians by his mother. Oscar was framed by his own brother and spent thirty years behind bars. Scratch spent eleven years in prison for a crime he didn't commit. My husband Shut was beaten and whipped and imprisoned as a child and nearly driven insane by the people that imprisoned him as a teen. *voice cracks* I lost my dad in a fire and my mom in a shooting. I was beaten and whipped and tortured by my own Pack mates, I moved from foster home to foster home, nobody really wanting me. My best friend, my sister Storm, was shot right in front of me. She bled to death and died in my arms. *sighs* I don't want anyone to have to feel what I felt for almost my entire life; unwanted and unloved. That's why our family is so big; we take in and care for and love and accept the people nobody else wants. *kneels down by Manic and voice drops to a whisper* and we make sure they prosper.
Thunder is now one of the best young mechanics in the country. Birch is the best and one of the smartest in his class and has been offered at least ten scholarships by the best collages in the country. Cherry is an amazing dancer that can put any other to shame. Ryan has an amazing talent for engineering and architecture; one time he showed me a blueprint of his that made the Tashzma Hall look like a poorly built pile of blocks. Bone is the most amazing actor and artist I've ever seen and Twilight is a spectacular singer, who have both been offered to star in multiple movies. Scourge has an amazing knowledge of flight and is one of the best pilots in the world, along with his co-pilot Snipps. Taros has a knack in the medical field and is learning medicine in some of the top collages in the country, despite the fact that heβs only 12. Tooth is quite the young musician and has professionals tripping head over heal to teach him. Oscar is one of the most renowned scientists in the world. Scratch owns and runs one of the largest and most successful weaponsβ production industries in the world (with Shut as his vice president). And Shut is the Golden Alpha of the Wereian Packs (with Scratch as his second-in-command). And look at me; Iβm one of the most successful and bestselling author and artist in the country!
*leans in towards Manic* Manic, when weβre through with you youβll be so prosperous your dad will regret ever lifting a finger against you. *hugs him* youβre loved and wanted here, Manic. *puts her hands on his shoulders* And we will make sure you blossom like the flower you were always meant to be. We love you and youβre special and matter. Donβt you dare let anyone tell you otherwise.

Manic would have a shocked look on his face... Though in his mind he believes what he's been told his whole life, that he's worthless, he might just start to see there is a little potential. Sadly the lies the world told him are untrue and he later becomes a ER Trauma doctor who specializes in emergency field surgeries and also a leading physicist for medicinal chemicals and pharmacology... The lies he's been told bog him down and make him feel defeated. The abortion attempt on him early in life, sadly caused some nerve damage that leads to clumsiness, and his multiple bone fractures that healed incorrectly also lend to his inability to coordinate himself well...
Manic: * in tears hugs her* wow... Thanks. I want to be a doctor... but I-I don't know, I don't think I can... I'm sorry ma'am I don't think I'll ever be as good as your kids are... I'm just-just me, just Manic... I-I'm nobody special... Im just a messy kid that doesn't know what to do anymore and doesn't want to be hurt again... *bits his lip* what if I never become anyone special? Am I good enough to just be me... Manic with no special talents? What if all I'm good for is hugs? My body hurts a lot and won't do what I tell it to... I'm just clumsy Manic... thats all...

Feather: Manic, it's wonderful you want to be a doctor! But I don't want to hear any of this talk of "I can't". They're-
Birch: *walks into the room* What do you mean "you don't think you can?" *leans down next to Manic and looks him in the eye* Manic, I was thrown out of my Pack because everyone thought I was CURSED. *unsheathes his black claws on his left hand and shows Manic, the one on his middle finger missing* My twisted claw meant I was cursed, that I would bring plague and darkness on my Pack and everyone around me. And for a very long time I believed them. When I was fifteen they finally drove me out and sent a hunting party out to kill me. The one leading the hunting party name was Naoke; he's the one who tore off my ear. They chased me through the woods slipped off the edge of a small cliff and collapsed in a ditch. Bone and Thorn found me a couple days later and brought me to their house. They fixed me up and took care of me. The point is, you're not worthless, you matter and you're special. You WILL amount to something. Do you hear me? You are NOT worthless!
Feather: And we can help you with your clumsiness. You know Bone? The muscular dark blue werehog with the ponytail? He used to have a lot of trouble controlling his strength (and his temper), but we worked with him and now he can control it. Ryan has this power called Destaros Energy that when we first found him was out of control and he couldnβt control it. It was dangerous enough that the authorities were forced to sedidate him and arrest him and took him to a prison called Kediesha. It took a while for us to finally get it under control but we made it work. Plus I know some people who work in the medical field that can probably help you too. *strokes Manicβs head* Why donβt you get some sleep, Iβll call my friend Chicka tonight and see if she can come over. Sheβs a Cheetian healer and can help us. *kisses him on the forehead* Goodnight sweetheart, Iβll see you in the morning. I love you.

Birch: What are you gonna do to Kyle?
Feather: To put it mildly; traumatize him.
Birch: *raises his eyebrow* Traumatize him how?
Feather: *smiles* Intimidation and hallucination.
Birch: Intimidation and hallucination?
Feather: I give him a little peek at my team and then inject him with a chemical that causes horrific hallucinations for a short time. *fingers knife* He won't dare hurt anyone every again once we're through with him. *walks away down the hall*
Birch: *with a slightly panicked look* You're not going to introduce him to Synkia, are you?
Feather: *pulls out knife from its sheath and looks over the blade* I just might.

Mace: Yeah, Birch just called. What's the emergency?
Feather: Abuser that needs to be taught a lesson.
Mace: Are we actually gonna throw some punches or just scare the crap out of him?
Feather: Scare the crap out him. I doubt we'll actually need to hurt him to get our message across.
Mace: Alright. Should we bring the whole team or just a few members?
Feather: *thinks it over* Bring the whole team. I want him to know we're not messing around. Just make sure Samantha knows he's not just some helpless victim; you know how she is.
Mace: Sure. Who is this guy anyway?
Feather: Kyle.
Mace: The police officer that got run up the flagpole? The guy that's been beatin' up that kid Manic?
Feather: That's the one.
Mace: I'll bring the hallucigens.
Feather: Wonderful. Meet us on the corner of Brook Ln in the western part of Calidge. *plays with the knife in her hand* The night is young and hunting season starts now.
Mace: I can't wait.

Feather: *breathes sigh of relief* Thanks sweetheart. Now if you'll excuse me *pushes past her* I have to grab my bow and quiver.

Manic would probably panic but they are trying to help him... I don't know if he would understand that right away, he's just afraid of aggression because that always meant horrible pain for him... Once he's learned that just because people are acting tense doesn't mean they want to hurt him.
Kyle is going to end up wishing he didn't ever mess with Manic...

Oooh, poor Manic. They're not trying to hurt him, just trying to make sure to make sure Kyle doesn't dare hurt him ever again.
Feather would probably hold him tight and reassure him that they're not going to hurt him or even really hurt his dad...but instead making sure that Kyle doesn't hurt him ever again.
And yes, Kyle is going to regret his grave mistake once he sees Feather's team..

Yeah Manic might just allow her to hold him because he trusts her and once he was able to wrap his mind around the fact that they weren't going to hurt him, or his dad, he would relax.

Well let me tell you a little to success. If your dream doesn't scare you, it's not big enough.
